Paintable sealing film exterior

The paintable exterior sealing film is a high-quality, injectable joining compound based on hybrid polymers that forms a seamless, airtight and waterproof elastic membrane once dried. Together with the paintable interior sealing film (0898 800 002) and the Purflex gun foam (0800 898 500), the paintable exterior sealing film forms an innovative sealing film system for window installation.

Application area:

The paintable sealing film has been developed for use on window reveals and outdoor façades. Once dried, it can be painted and plastered over.
Its special properties mean that the paintable sealing film is suitable for renovation work on existing structures as well as work on new builds. It remains elastic and very durable after curing.

Advice:

The paintable exterior sealing film can be applied as a bead using a manual or compressed air gun or by spreading using a brush. Apply the airtight coating in several undiluted, even layers using a flat brush to create a seamless film with a thickness of at least 1 mm. For use on windows, ensure that the watertight paste forms an airtight, seamless membrane of at least 10 mm on the window frame that is above the foam by up to ± 5 cm in the visible area (outside) of the structural work.
