Solid polypropylene (PP) shim for levelling and aligning in window and door construction as well as in indoor applications and drywalling. Universal use also as a small spacer or shim.
Application area:
Shims are suitable for levelling, millimetre-precision balancing and for removing loads. For example, they are often used in carpentry or timber construction, prefabricated house construction, the assembly and load removal of components such as windows, doors or conservatories, as well as to compensate between floor panels and wooden constructions.
Advantages:
Load capacity up to four tonnes (tested): theoretical load capacity over 16 tonnes
Non-slip surface due to fine-grained grooving, can also be used for locking several stacked shims
Temperature-resistant and dimensionally accurate even in wet, heat or cold
Resistant to many common chemicals
Resistant to ageing with surface compatibility due to high-quality polypropylene
Material is physiologically harmless and plasticiser-free
Advice:
Colour variations can occur due to the recycled base material.
Protect from permanent, direct sunlight.
