Spacer washer (shim) tolerance in accordance with DIN 522, steel plain, cold rolled. Spacer washers/shims are used to easily balance out existing tolerances when positioning and securing a shaft, an axle or other machine parts. They can also be used as shim rings to minimise the normal range of motion created by the manufacturing tolerances of circlips and rivets.
